criminal law book 1
FOR ergoproxy1317 on first question?
the book is Criminal Law ninth edition by Joel Samaha the question is to assume you are the prosecutor in the case of Miller v.s State and get a guilty verdict for him constructively possessing the hand gun. there is no gun in this case my teacher also read it and said it was a miss print to write to the editor. and there was 1 other question that wanted you to defend him over the gun charge but again there was no gun.
Oh well in that case! : ) I’ve written to an editor before to discuss a similar situation. State it in a polite, professional manner, that is more as though you are asking if there is truly a mistake rather than saying “you messed up!”
I said something like “I believe that I found a misprint in [insert name of book and page] and would like to verify this with you.” Then tell them essentially what you just said here about the problem, and then close it with something like “I appreciate your help with this inquiry. Thank you for your time.”
