criminal law books
Does any know of a criminal law website?
which is very detailed and basically tells you all you need to know about criminal law, like the book Archibald.
Saffyre is obviously American but some of what she said was applicable to the UK in that it is not just knowing the statute laws and how to apply them, but the caselaw that applies to those statutes. I cannot see you ploughing through cases for hours just to find something applicable that the judge said obiter. If you don’t know what obiter means don’t even think about trying to look up any case law. You will not know how to use it effectively.
Archibalds and Stones only quote the legislation, they don’t explain it.
