Does anyone have an in home preschool in Texas? I would like to open one that serves 3-5 year olds 2 to 4?
days a week for 2.5 hours. It would not be a daycare/childcare, but a private preschool. Texas has no regulations against private schools. I think all I need is a DBA/business license, but I can’t find any information online. All the information I find relates to childcare/daycare facilities and homeschooling laws.
You are not finding any information because you can have up to 4 children without being considered a day care. Since you will be working with children you need to get finger printed. It gives parents a peace of mind because your fingerprints will be on file. Just google fingerprints to work in childcare in TX.
