law books buy
Is it okay to buy english literature books/text books from universities when you’re NOT a student?
i used to be a student, so i have my little card & everything. But i’m having this year off from study, and i am addicted to learning. i went to university today with a friend, cos she needed text books for her upcoming course, and there were so many text books i would’ve really loved to buy, but my friend said you aren’t allowed to buy text books unless you’re studying that particular course. So i was wondering if she was right or wrong, and it IS okay to purchase text books? i mean there are so many law books, and i don’t want to do any law course, i am simply fascinated by law, that is all. Same with biology, psychology, journalism, drama & anything associated with english literature books (i love those that are chosen for students).
Well, since professors often time only purchase enough books for the number of student they will be teaching, you should not purchase a book. Though, most of the time for some reason they do not have enough books and the bookstore ends up ordering more. So, you COULD try to purchase a book 1-2 weeks after class starts. With the whole add/drop thing you may come across a few extra books. It is worth a shot.
Just make sure your bookstore does not require you to have a class schedule in order to pick out your books. Then again, you could always write down the title and order them online.
